The Dallas Action Center volunteers meet on a regular basis, for discussions on the projects that Vibha supports and planning for local fundraising events. The meetings are informal, relaxed and very friendly and open to all. Many of the volunteers who are with Vibha today just decided to show up at a meeting. As volunteers are fond of saying, Change a child's life and see it change your own! We hope to see you at the next meeting!

We're a volunteer-driven non-profit organization dedicated to creating brighter futures for underprivileged children. The Dallas volunteers are a group of energetic and enthusiastic people from all walks of life, brought together by a strong belief that we can positively impact the future of India - even from halfway around the world.
The volunteers organize events, drives and campaigns in Dallas and create awareness about the cause, as well as raise much needed funds to support grassroots projects in India. To maximize our impact, we select projects from all possible spheres of influence that can affect an underprivileged child - right from poverty to education to health care to canvassing for changes in government policies.
Since our inception in 1991, Vibha has raised $13 million and supported more than 250 projects in India and 10 projects in the US. As a result, Vibha has been able to reach out to and provide opportunities for over 300,000 underprivileged children. Currently, Vibha supports 30 projects in India and 7 projects in the US.

Vibha volunteers are at the heart of the organization. Our volunteers work together to create a brighter future for thousands of underprivileged children in India and the US. Most of the Vibha volunteers are working professionals in the US and some are also students at various colleges and schools. Volunteering for Vibha is also fun! It gives you the opportunity to meet new people, make new acquaintances, network, form new friendships, and fun socializing! You name it and the volunteers have probably experienced it or would want to take part in it! They are a friendly bunch.
