WHAT'S YOUR TALENT? BRING IT TO THE STAGE!!! PERFORM TO SUPPORT A KID!!!!!
VIBHA Xpressions is a talent show intended to showcase the talents of performers in the Folsom and Greater Sacramento regions, especially in the areas of music, dance, drama and the like. This event is open to performers ages 3 and above. Funds generated from this event will be used to support projects working towards providing health care, education and support for under privileged kids in India and the United states.

I. Venue and Time
DATE: April 24th 2010
LOCATION:Folsom High School,
1655 Iron Point Drive, Folsom, CA
TIME:1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
II. Categories
Contestants will be divided into 4 age groups:
1. 3- 8 years
2. 9-12 years
3. 13-17 years
4. 18 and above
Contestant performances will be classified into one of the following categories:
1. Vocal (solo, duet, ensemble)
2. Instrumental (solo, duet, ensemble, band)
3. Theater/Drama (dramatic or poetry reading, monologue, comedy routine)
4. Dance (tap, jazz, modern, ballet, hip hop, bollywood)
Performances are not limited to above mention examples in categories.
The finalized performances time slots are as follows.

| 3-8 | 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. |
| 9-12 | 4:45 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. |
| 13-17 | 2:45 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. |
| 18 & Above | 8:15 p.m. - 8:45 p.m. |
The check in time for each category is 30 minutes before the performance time slot listed above.
III. Registration details
Participant Fees - $12
Note: Registration fees apply for each individual performer. It is not based on the number of performances.Please refer to rules and regulations for more details.
1. Both solo and group performances are allowed. A solo will constitute a single person performing an act. Any performance which includes more than one person will be considered a group. Both solo and group performances will be judged together for each catagories.
2. A performer can participate in one solo performance and 1 group performance if desired.
3. If there are participants from multiple age groups, the group will compete in the age category for the oldest participant.
4. The number of performances for the event will be capped at 60. VIBHA reserves the right the increase, decrease or move around the number of performances in each group based on the responses received. Please refer to the list on the right for the current registration count.

5. VIBHA reserves the right to move the registration close date depending on the number of registrations received.
6.It is strongly recommended that an act run no more than 4 minutes. Contestants will be penalized in scoring if their performance exceeds 4 minutes. Contestants will also be provided with one minute of stage setup time to prepare the stage for their performance. Contestants who use less than 1 minute for their stage setup can use the remaining time for their act. Contestants who use more than one minute for stage setup will have to lose that time from their act.
7. A panel of judges will judge the contestants. Both solo and group performances in an age group will be judged together. Prizes will be awarded to the following categories:

If a particular category has only one performer, that performer will be awarded the prize. Judges’ decision will be final and binding. No appeals against the judges’ decision will be encouraged. The VIBHA committee will play no part in the judging process.
8. The finalized performances time slots is published at the beginning of the page.
9. Contestants will constantly communicate with the VIBHA stage committee to decide on their stage setup, their time slot etc.
10. VIBHA Committee is not responsible for theft/damage or injury of any kind, to persons or instruments, props, clothing etc., during, before or after the performance.
11. If a contestant should decide to drop out of Xpressions 2010, the registration fee paid will NOT be refunded. If a category is cancelled, any entry fee paid WILL be refunded.
12. Contestants must be present at all meetings, rehearsals and shows and must be present during the entire show period. If possible, contestants must inform the VIBHA committee after registration.
13. VIBHA holds the right to use contestant's name and/or photo for any further publicity purposes.
14. Xpressions 2010 contestants cannot converse or communicate in any way about the show to any of the show's judges at any time during the show.
15. VIBHA reserves the right of final decision on any matters pertaining to the Xpressions 2010 not covered by the rules.
16. All contestants should bring their own instruments like guitars, amplifiers, keyboards etc for performances. The VIBHA committee will not provide any instruments. The committee will provide sound system support

You will receive your confirmation email with registration code within 48 hrs. Please email us at Vibha.sacramento@gmail.com, if you do not receive a registration code in about two days from the date of registration.
Your email confirmation for the ticket purchase will serve as your ticket. Please print the confirmation email and bring to the event to gain access.
