[edit] Vibha Serenity Infotech Scholastic Rated Championship

Eligibility:

• Grade 12 and below.
• Must have rating > 1399.
• Must have current US Chess Federation Membership.
• Should have played at least 10 rated games or needs permission of TD.

Section:

• Rating 1400 – 1499
• Rating 1500 – 1599
• Rating 1600 – 1699
• Rating 1700 – 1799

Trophies/Awards:

• Guaranteed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, top under 1600, and ALL STAR to any 3 players with plus scores

Entry Fee:

• $20/- early registration till 1/31/13
• $25/- registration in Feb 2013
• Registration closes at midnight 2/13/13

Byes:

• Player taking 1st round Bye need to inform by 2/13
• Players taking Byes in any other rounds, need to inform by 10 am event day

Rounds:

• Arrive - 10:00 – 10:30 to check in and report any errors
• Instructions given @ 11am

• Rating 800 – 899

Note: Above maybe combined if not enough players in some sections.

Trophies/Awards:

• Guaranteed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd , top high school, top middle school, top elementary, top grades k, 1, 2 and ALL STAR to any 3 players with plus scores.

• Anyone age over 18 years or a high school graduate can play.
• NO membership required.
