• Over 100 million children in India between 6 and 14 years of age are outside the school system.
• Over 20 million children are child laborers.
  

Statistics like these portray a bleak picture, but you’ll be surprised at how little it takes to make a difference. How little it takes to bring about significant change in the lives of these children. How little it takes to bring a smile to a child’s face.

For a pledge of 100 dollars from you - your family (i.e. parents or wife and kids) get free entries to come walk or run a few miles with us to fulfill million dreams. Please do join us and give them hope and inspiration. We will email you the form to complete the registration process.

Vibha’s mission is to "educate, empower and enable every individual who wishes to make a positive difference in the life of an underprivileged child". We look at ourselves as a medium to enable you to make a positive change in the lives of such children. And, THIS is your chance to give them the gift of education, health, and opportunity. Your chance to give them the gift of what we take for granted—childhood!

Vibha also believes in giving back to the community that it raises money from. This year Paramount Software Dream Mile 2011's local beneficiary is Children's Health Care of Atlanta.

• Set your own fundraising goal and reach out to your family and friends to help you meet that goal. Become a Fundraiser and set up your own fund-raising web page.

Steps to setup your personalized pledge page

1. Go to: http://www.active.com/donate/DM2011Atlanta

2. Click on "Become a Fund raiser"

3. Then, click on "Fundraise as an Individual" OR
- "Create a Fundraising Team" OR
- "Join a Fundraising Team"

4. It will ask for your active.com login details.
- If you are a first-time fund raiser, go ahead and create your login.
- If you had setup your pledge page last year, you have a login already.Please use the same login.

5. Pick/Complete the URL for your page.
- Enter your target amount (This is the target amount that you plan to raise by asking friends, family and others to donate/pledge for VIBHA)
- Click Save and finish at the right bottom. Your URL will be ready. (Send us an email with your URL and the target amount)

6. Now you have become a fund raiser and can start approaching one and all for pledges.

All donations to Vibha are tax deductible. Vibha will mail a receipt for the donation to your mailing address on the check. If you have made an on-line donation, you will automatically recieve an email receipt.
