IKE UPDATE
Vibha team is arduously following weather forecasts and we hope to have a safe and great event. As of now our plan is to conduct Dream Mile 5K/10K run/walk on Sept 14 as scheduled. Depending on Ike's path we might delay the start time. Please check back with this site as we approach the event day. Event day hotline would be 214-431-5157.

What: 10K Run / 5K Run / Fun Walk

Where: White Rock Lake (Tee Pee Hill) 3240 W. Lawther, Dallas , TX

Event Schedule: September 14, 2008
6:30 - 7:45 a.m. Walk-In Registrations and packet pickup
8:00 am - Start 10K/5K race
9:00 a.m. - Know our beneficiary
9:30 a.m. - 5k Awards
10:00 a.m. - 10k Awards

Both 5K / 10K races are professionally timed

Awards:
The top male and female winners in 5k and 10k category will receive a one hour 'Discovery' flight ride over Dallas. In addition we will also present awards to the top two finishers both male and female in the following age groups for both the 5K and 10k: 19& Under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70+.

Please make sure you reach the park with sufficient time to register and a proper warm up.

Parking

Free parking for the event is available by the lake. Volunteers will usher you into the parking spots.
