Our Vibha Youth Community volunteer service event at Medshare International is on August 9th from 1pm-4pm. We are committed to at least 30 volunteers from 1pm - 4pm on Saturday, August 9th. We will meet at their facility located at:

MedShare International is an Atlanta-based non-profit organization dedicated to recycling surplus medical supplies and equipment for use by healthcare institutions in developing countries. Vibha Youth volunteers will help MedShare International in sorting and packing medicines and medical supplies to be sent to developing countries.

They have partnerships with delivery organizations to deliver medical supply containers. The supplies they ship is being used in life saving situations. It will be a good experience for our youth. We completed about 1373 pounds of first sort boxes plus syringes and 147 boxes of medical supplies. The boxes are entered into their inventory, the hospitals check the inventory online and request for supplies. They also need volunteers for web, data entry and other technnology areas.
