The Dream Mile is Vibha's annual 5K Run/Walk fundraiser held in several cities across US. Since 1998, The Dream Mile in Los angeles has been bringing together hundreds of people who have one thing in common – the desire to make a positive difference in the lives of underprivileged children. Vibha Los Angeles announces Kalakaar-2010, a unique competition for children and adults - an opportunity to give wings to your creativity, express yourselves and help a child in need. This is an e-competition and you can send in your entries by e-mail and register online. A new book to write in, a new pair of slippers, a new little shirt for the New Year- these are some of the ways that your participation or your child's participation could make a difference, a small difference to someone on the other side of the globe. Vibha LA presents Vibha Vibe - A multicultural potpourri of music and dance. Vibha Vibe is designed to attract individuals, young and old, across various ethnic backgrounds to support the cause of Vibha. The intent of Vibha Vibe is to give upcoming talented artists and dance groups across diverse cultures a platform to showcase their talent. While doing so, we want you to experience and rejoice the diversity in art in Los Angeles. The show will include Carnatic music, Bharatanatyam, and we are hoping to include Bollywood dance, Salsa, Kathak, and many more. We are currently looking for more performances. Vibha Walk 2007
We had the 2nd Vibha LA Walk/Run is on the 7th of October. Rechristened as "The Dream Walk", this is one event that is organized nation-wide to show support for the cause. Thanks to everyone who participated/pledged and showed their support for this.
