Dear Patrons, Participants and Volunteers

Thank you for supporting THE DREAM MILE 2007 - VIBHA DC 5K RUN/WALK. More that 60 people converged at the Hunters Wood Pool and Picnic Pavilion on the beautiful morning of Sunday, August 19th 2007, to show their support for Vibha by walking the 4 mile path and helped raise funds for underprivileged children in India and the US. In spite of the increase in the length, walkers and runners enjoyed the weather and scenery along the path well laid out by Randy Skovrinski of Your Start I Finish. The top 5 participants, the youngest and the oldest participant received Awards and Prizes. Jon Palks (0:30’53), Jean Arthur (0:31'54), Dawn Michel (0:33'13), Denis Hays (0:34'17) and Vijay Desai (0:35'44) were placed in the top 5 places respectively.

Participants also took part in an impromptu General Knowledge quiz while waiting for the Race to finish. Dennis Hays won the trivia challenge. Sushil Suvarna and Kavita Mitapalli were runner-ups

Congratulations again on a very well managed event. I thought everything went great and winning a trophy and the trivia challenge made it even better! I hope your initial successful effort has inspired you to come back even bigger and stronger next year. Dennis
