The Dream Mile is the flagship event in Vibha's continued efforts to increase awareness about the plight of underprivileged children. It has come a long way since its inception in 1998. It has grown from being a small event attended primarily by volunteers and friends to a permanent fixture on the calendars of runners in the various cities in America. The increasing participation and enthusiasm for this event just goes to show how strongly people feel about the cause of underprivileged children. This is the eight successive year that Vibha-MN is organizing a walk/run event in the Twin Cities, and the first time at Lake Calhoun. The 5K and 10K Run events will be timed and awards will be given away in several age categories.

The mission of the Door Step School(DSS) is to use innovative programs to bring education to the poor children in urban areas.
DSS conducts classes close to where they live or work. It identifies communities, like migrant workers' children, street children, fishermens' children etc, and tries to establish Non Formal Education classes for them.
