Srikanth is the current Action Co-ordinator and Treasurer for Vibha Austin. He has been a volunteer for over last 2-3 years playing a key role in re-shaping Vibha Austin. He did his Masters from the University of Michigan and is currently designing complex processors at Intel, Austin. He is also an awesome singer, and was formerly part of the Omkara band in Austin.
Smita is one of the key volunteers of Vibha Austin (the one we just cant do without!). She lead the DreamMile 2008 to a huge success. She is a UT alum and currently works at Intel,Austin. She is also the 'Project Lead' for Vibha Austin AC.
Suriya is a Graduate Student at UT Austin, pursuing his PhD in the CS department. He has been an active Vibha volunteer for the past few years. Apart from his research and volunteer work, he has a profound interest in Carnatic music and plays the Mridangam. You can find him performing at concerts in Austin.
Mayur who was the co-lead for the Vibha Cricket Tournament 2009, is one of the enthusiastic Vibha volunteers. He also helped make DreamMile 2008 a huge success. Another UT,Austin graduate who stuck around as Austin is too cool to leave !
A PhD student in the UT Nutrition Department, this lady is one heck of a creative person. Her contribution to the Vibha events is enormous. She has designed the tshirts, banners and fliers for our last several events.She has also been a part of organizing the DreamMile, helping out with the publicity and sponsorship, as well as event-day volunteering for the same.
Richa , a PhD student at UT Austin is a big asset to Vibha Austin. Her great organization and people-management skills were sole reasons for the success of 'Trivia Guru' a new event organized by this AC in 2009. Very enthusiastic and always eager to contribute, she has helped Vibha Austin raise quite some funds over last few years. If that wasnt enough, she is also a superb dancer ! :)
Urmila has been a volunteer for Vibha since last August. She has been an active volunteer right from day one, ever ready to take up any task, and enthusiastic to execute the same with betterment. She is University of Michigan Masters graduate, working at Intel,Austin. She is currently the 'Publicity Lead' for Vibha Austin AC. Apart from that she is the resident Master of Ceremonies for all Vibha Austin events!
Aditya is a PhD student at UT in the ECE department. He has been a Vibha volunteer for several years & acts as a chief liaison with UT to secure grounds for the Cricket tournament,permissions for the DreamMile,room access for the Trivia guru, etc etc. He played a key role in organizing the Trivia Guru quiz, right from coming up with the questions to organizing all the rounds for the Quiz.
A new Vibha volunteer, Chirag was the co-lead for the Vibha Cricket Tournament. He works at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) , Austin.
Ramdas joined Vibha Austin in 2003. He has been the lead for several fund raising events for Vibha. He has also served as the action center coordinator for a while. He is currently in Oregon, and is the IT director for Vibha. He still considers himself a Vibha Austin volunteer and helps us out whenever we need him!
A BTech (CSE) in IIT-Madras 1999, Masters (CS) from UT 2002, working at The Catalis, Austin ,Murali has been a Vibha volunteer since 2002. He has been part of the National IT Team in 2002/03, AC Coord in 2003, Walk lead in 2003, events (concerts, volleyball, cricket, chess, movies, childrens fair, bowlathon...). Since Mar 2004, National Executive Director for Programs and Products. Project lead for GSK, RMKM and Prayas. Started Subodh, an educational materials initiative for projects of Vibha, Asha and AID.
He is also known as the Godfather of Vibha Austin!

You are welcome to attend our weekly meetings, to know more about Vibha, or volunteer for Vibha. We are always looking for new volunteers. We have lots of fun, and are a great group to hang around with :)
